Turn Cricket Red

Daniel Gilliland memorial cricket match

Hi there,

In October 2022, Dan was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a highly aggressive brain cancer with a poor prognosis. He died 13 months later. During his illness I received valuable support from the Ruth Strauss Foundation

The Foundation's mission is to ensure families facing the death of a parent from cancer are offered professional emotional support, as well as raise awareness of the need for more research in the fight against non-smoking related lung cancers.

On 4th August, we will be holding a memorial cricket match to remember Dan, but will also be fundraising for the Ruth Strauss Foundation including running a prize draw.

Thanks for visiting my page, your support means the world and will make a real difference to families facing grief.
