Sunnngdale School 1st XI v. Cottesmore School 1st XI - Turn Cricket Red 2026
On Saturday 20th June, we will be hosting Cottesmore School in one of our annual Summer fixtures. Our 1st XI match, pavilion and ground will turn Red for the afternoon in support of the Ruth Strauss Foundation and the wonderful work that they are doing to support families in difficult times. In addition, our current 1st XI team members will be taking on a mighty challenge in advance of the afternoon. Collectively, they will run the distance from Sunningdale School to Lords Cricket Ground, 40km. They will do this as a continuous relay in teams of three and in cricket kit (pads, gloves etc) and using the school athletics track. This part of our event will take place beginning at 9am on Thursday 18th June. All donations will help support the Ruth Strauss Foundation's mission to support families facing one of life's toughest tests. We are proud to be supporting the Foundation and we fully appreciate your support in helping us achieve our target. Run well boys!Â
